FOE는 Field On Enemy(뭔가 바뀐 것 같은데...)의 약자로, 저 게임에서 원래 적은 랜덤으로 인카운터가 되는데, FOE의 경우 플래시에서 보듯이 오렌지색,혹은 빨간색 덩어리로 필드에 위치가 표시돼서 돌아다니는 적입니다. 잘하면 피해다닐 수도 있겠지만(사실 앞으로 나가려면 반드시 싸워야 하지만) 잡몹과는 비교할 수 없이 강합니다. 간단히 말해 보스급 몬스터. 초반이라면 전멸은 예정된 수순이죠. 그런데 특별히 FOE가 세계수 유저에게 무서운 점이라면 너무 빨리 나오기 때문이겠습니다. 저 게임의 경우, 2층 내려가자마자 사슴 FOE - 플래시에 나오는 - 가 유저를 벌벌 떨게 만들고, 사슴을 물리쳤다고 해도 그 다음층에 바로 사마귀 FOE가 등장하느라 유저들이 꽤 난색을 표했던 걸로 알고 있습니다...10층 이하로 내려가면 `그래서 뭐(...)` 라는 느낌이지만 말이죠.
